This is the best wall-mount sunglasses storage/display case I could find without spending $700+ for a handmade one on Etsy. It is a bit larger than I wanted or needed -- an 8-slot would have been perfect -- but considering the available alternatives, this one seemed like the best combination of quality and value. The seller has storefronts on a few other websites, including their own, but I was glad to find it available here on Amazon, which is where I do most of my online shopping. I ordered it on a Sunday, and it was at my door from Puerto Rico by Wednesday afternoon. As noted by other reviewers on this seller's other products, the packaging is excellent - double-boxed with a fiberboard insert to protect the glass from punctures during shipping. It does have some of that horrible cheap styrofoam that disintegrates and gets everywhere, but I can overlook that for the price and would rather deal with that than a less-than-protective shipping container. The unit itself is well-made and quite heavy! The 4x wall-mounting points in each corner on the rear are metal, set flush into the wood -- very sturdy. Mine did not include screws/anchors for wall mounting, but I wouldn't have used them even if they were included. If you are planning to mount to drywall, I'd suggest you get some high-quality drywall anchors/screws such as TripleGrip COBRA #8 (Amazon has them, and Big Blue and Big Orange both sell them in-store). Don't cheap out on the anchors. Since I wall-mounted, I did not use the base, but it screws into the bottom of the unit with 8x included wood screws. This does have the downside of leaving the pre-drilled holes on the bottom exposed if you don't use the base, but so far, I haven't even noticed them. They are colored in with stain so they don't stick out, visually. I like that the unit has 3 hinges on the door. I expect the door to never sag or go out of alignment. The quality of the veneer also seems quite good, off the bat. It is not textured, just perfectly smooth, so very easy to wipe clean. We will see how it holds up over time. The "lock," is a joke. It isn't going to keep anyone out, except maybe a baby. If you're looking for something secure, look elsewhere. There IS a magnet that holds the door closed - a nice touch! Overall I'm very happy with this unit, and its only downside is it seems I am now feeling tempted to buy more sunglasses to fill it up. I guess it's nice to have room for expansion. First world problems, indeed.
